Transport Driver

This role is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery/collection of vehicles within A set timeframe.

Hours:

Mon to Fri 7-5

1 in 3 Saturdays 8-3

Pay:

£30-35,000 depending on experience

duties & Responsibilities

· Collection and delivery of vehicles using a truck & trailer, ensuring that the vehicles are properly secured and transported in safe and compliant manner.

· Completion of all paperwork.

· Examine vehicles for damage and tyre safety, ensuring that damage reports are completed, and any damage is agreed with the customer prior to the vehicle being taken

· Maintain systems and procedures in line with department operating standards and utilise them appropriately

· Complete any relevant documentation where necessary

· Receive and provide receipt for the collection of payments where necessary

· Chauffer company personnel and/or customers where required

· Collect/deliver small items where required

· Any other reasonable duties assigned by management

· Experience in a similar role.

· Correct drivers licence to tow up to 3.5T.

· Ability and previous experience of trailered deliveries.

· Ability to work deadlines and targets.

· Flexible with working hours.

· Strong teamwork skills.

· Confident and professional communication skills.

· Full, clean uk drivers licence.
